The
principal emphasis of Mr. Pollock's practice is in the area
of patent evaluation and analysis, including patent infringement
and validity studies. He also has significant experience in
patent procurement, patent licensing and strategic planning
in the use of intellectual property assets.
Although Mr. Pollock works with a wide variety of technologies
in the electrical, chemical and mechanical arts, his primary
expertise is in semiconductor integrated circuits and their
manufacture, wired and wireless networks, and electronic systems.
He received a BS in chemical engineering from Northwestern University.
Mr. Pollock received his Juris Doctor degree from the University
of San Francisco in 1978. After eight years as in-house corporate
intellectual property counsel, including with Fairchild Semiconductor
Inc. and National Semiconductor Corp., Mr. Pollock joined the
intellectual property law firm of Limbach & Limbach in 1986.
While at Limbach & Limbach, he served on various management
committees and for two terms as its managing partner. In January
of 2001, Mr. Pollock founded this firm with Mr. Stallman.
Mr. Pollock's clients include integrated circuit manufacturers,
integrated circuit equipment manufacturers, wired and wireless
communications companies, audio/video signal processing equipment
manufacturers, manufacturers of computerized printing control
systems, financial services providers, tool manufacturers and
building construction product manufacturers. |
